This project originally began as Dot Hacker’s fourth album. Josh would write the songs, record them on only one instrument with a vocal, then send them to Clint, who was going to serve as producer, and he would work with Eric and Jonathan, all remotely recording by themselves. Things didn’t work out as planned, so Josh and Clint decided to go on as a Pluralone project.
